Getting started with Hintible

Welcome to Hintible! This guide will walk you through the key features that will help you create engaging and interactive video experiences. We'll cover the three main areas of the Hintible platform: Build, Share, and Optimize.

Getting started with Hintible

Building Your Hintible Journey

Think of the Hintible Builder as your canvas. Here, you'll design the flow of your video and the interactive elements viewers will encounter (called Hints).  These elements will guide viewers towards specific actions, like visiting a landing page, booking a call, or leaving feedback.

1. Log in and Start Building

Head over to the Hintible Builder

2. Map Your Journey

There are two ways to begin your journey:

  • Drag from the Starting Point: Click and drag your cursor from the starting point on the canvas. This will be the beginning of your video experience.
  • Drop a Hint: Select a Hint from the left sidebar and drag it near the starting point. Connect it to the starting point by clicking and dragging.

Pro Tip! Think of your Hintible Journey wireframe as a blueprint. Here, you can focus on the flow of your video and how it will guide viewers towards specific actions.

3. Explore the Different Hint Types

Hintible offers a variety of Hint types to suit your needs. To change the Hint type, simply click and drag the desired option over to the video card:

  • Single Button: Perfect for linear journeys with clear information, like training videos.
  • Multiple Choice: Present viewers with "This or That" options to segment them based on interests and preferences.
  • Ratings: Gauge customer satisfaction and create separate paths for happy and dissatisfied viewers.
  • Open Ended: Allow viewers to comment, ask questions, or even record video responses – ideal for collecting feedback and testimonials.

4. Craft Your Content

Once you've chosen your Hint type, it's time to personalize it:

  • Multiple Choice: Click "Multiple Choice" and then label your buttons accordingly.
  • All Hint Types: Add a prompt to your Hint to provide context for viewers.

5. Branch Out Your Journey

Drag and drop elements to expand your journey. Remember to include multiple paths based on viewers' choices.

6.  End with a Call to Action (CTA)

Every journey should have a clear CTA at the end. This tells viewers what to do next:

  • Select the CTA button on your video card.
  • Add a destination URL in the designated field. This could be a link to a landing page, contact form, calendar, etc.

Repeat steps 2-6 to create a branching and interactive video experience for your viewers!
